In Beta 111, I'm Chicago(N). On May 5 Fyhrie got the win because my team was winning when he came in to pitch, but subsequently lost the lead in 8th, long after he departed the game. Therefore, after my team rallied in the 9th, the WP should have been Von Poppel.

Also on Apr 16 Xiang should be the winning pitcher because he finished the 7th inning and my team rallied in the bottom of the 7th to take the lead, but Williams, who followed Xiang in the 8th got the win.

Failure to accurately record W/L is not good for a baseball sim.

On another point, on my game of May 10, my short relief man got the start. He didn't do to badly going 4 2/3 innings, but the inning before he was taken out, he was NOT pinch hit for with a runner on 3rd base. If the AI is going to start my reliever and take him out early, then it should also pinch hit for the guy with runners in scoring position.

BTW, in the online version what happened to strategy settings?

another tweak - in a fastsim playoff game btwn Cincy and Arizona, a WP led to the winning run. The pitcher was credited with an unearned run. As I understand it, WP are different than PB, and are therefore not treated as an error. If I'm wrong about this, my apologies, but I thought it worth drawing attention to.

Also, it would be nice if in subbing players the computer were capable of multiple switches, i.e. an existing player moving to a secondary (or primary, as the case may be) position, with the reserve taking the moved player's position. (for ex., Giambi plays third for the aforementioned Reds. Hal Morris mans first. A better switch would be for Aubrey huff to come in at third and Giambi move to first.) this doesn't seem like it should be too hard, and would be better in many cases than a primary substitution, such as Juan Nieves (IF) playing 1B....
