Posting Issues

When typing a message I cannot get any of the options above the text box to work... bold, italics, underline, html links, quotes, etc.... the shortcut buttons above my boxes sit there... like they're a decorative part of the text instead of actual active buttons that can be used. Am I the only one with this problem?

You're not hte only one -- Last night when we were trying to sticky some threads the menus refused to work at first. We shut down our browser, reopened the page and after that, they did work. (I use FireFox and Opera...and doing this worked for Firefox. If you use IE, this may work too...we don't know yet.)

We did a major upgrade of the board yesterday, and things are still shaking out from that, we think.

Anyone else getting weird symptoms?

Yeah Dee, I am having the same issues with the formatting buttons. But restarting my browser (Firefox) did not resolve the problem.

I tried re-setting my browser, clearing everything out as well. It still didn't work....

Until this morning. I was finally able to add the HTML Tag.

However when I add the HTML Tag you have to figure out where to put in what you want to show up. It asks you for the html address... but now how you want the link to appear. Is that supposed to be a change?

I was having this problem and finally switched over to firefox and since then my screen name seems to be working fine.
