View Full Version : Relief Pitcher Batting Stats [Fixed 10.25C]

I'm 99% sure that batting stats for relief pitchers don't always count accurately. A few of my pitchers are shown as having 1 at bat (which I remember them having) but 0 games played, which isn't possible. Also, I know for a fact that one of my pitchers (who is shown as 0 games/1 at bat) has had more than 1 at bat, and has even had a hit.

The batting for starting pitchers is fine.

I just had one of those pitchers come up, and his stats still stayed at 0 gp, 1 at bat.

Ok, he came up again, and got an RBI single. His at bats stayed at 1, and games at 0, but his Hits went up to 1 and RBI went up to 1, and now hes shown as having a 1.000 avg

Oddly enough, my relievers that I know have been up to bat don't even have a 2006 line in their batting reports. I know Matt Wise has at least one hit (he knocked in the winning run in the win-and-a-save game) and Justin Lehr has batted at least once because I idly clicked pitch in manager mode before realizing what I was doing. All their batting tabs show are their career batting stats prior to the 2006 season, so it's not as if their at bats from this year are adding to anything...

'Games Played' are now being recorded correctly for relief pitchers on their 'Batting' tab (as of 10.25C) This should fix most of the problems reported in this thread.

However, if you still see examples of a pitcher getting a hit or at-bat without it being incremented, let me know.
