Using patch 9.39 on a Windows XP with the 2005 Athletics, Ricardo Rincon got his 0th save:

Did it add correctly to his scouting report and the pitching window?

No.

Ah, okay. I just wanted to see if it was "just" a box score display problem or something else.

Nice. This is a bug, but it's not the bug you think it is. From Section 10.20 of the official rules (http://www.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/mlb/official_info/official_rules/official_scorer_10.jsp):

SAVES FOR RELIEF PITCHERS
10.20
Credit a pitcher with a save when he meets all three of the following conditions:
(1) He is the finishing pitcher in a game won by his club; and
(2) He is not the winning pitcher; and
(3) He qualifies under one of the following conditions:
(a) He enters the game with a lead of no more than three runs and pitches for at least one inning; or
(b) He enters the game, regardless of the count, with the potential tying run either on base, or at bat, or on deck (that is, the potential tying run is either already on base or is one of the first two batsmen he faces); or
(c) He pitches effectively for at least three innings. No more than one save may be credited in each game.

Rincon appears to have entered the game in the ninth with a three-run lead, one out, and no one on. Thus, he met (1) and (2), but not (3). The runner that he allowed doesn't count. Did Worrell allow any baserunners in his .1 IP?

No he did not:

T. Worrell 0.1 0 0 0 0 0 1 4 4.12

No he did not:

T. Worrell 0.1 0 0 0 0 0 1 4 4.12
I saw his line, which I why I guessed that Rincon entered with the bases empty. :p Let me rephrase the question: did anyone reach base for a reason that would not have shown up in the box score, such as a HBP or an error?

If the answer is no, then the bug is that BBM thinks that it's a save when creating the box score, but then realizes that it's not. Odd.

Saw a headline in my game where a player got his 0th win of the season (version 9.40). Therefore I think there's a bug in the headline story generator or something...
