I don't know about you guys, but I'm so sick of reading: "Jack Arsely hates Miami. He'd like to move somewhere hotter." Or b.s. to that effect. Wouldn't it be possible to allow us to edit our own player text, up to, say, 300 characters each? That way I could note with my history player that he's not tradeable because he's my history player, or write cool backstory stuff -- it'd add immersion to the game, if we could all do this.

Unfortuanately, I think some owners might abuse this feature if it were created and write things that are detrimental to the league. Possiably the league commish could edit the blurbs?

"Joe Schmoe has killed 75 people for looking at him wrong. Joe Schmoe wears women's clothing off the field."

You mean that sort of abuse?

I still like the idea. Editable team names get abused, but they're still a good idea.

It's a good idea, but I think I'd have too much fun with that

How would that be wrong?

Seriously though, Clay, it's become frustrating in BBMO that we keep seeing nothing but "player X hates being the #2 guy in team A when he could start for team X" when your team is solid, he's behind a better pitcher, and the other team's 20-110. Happiness doesn't affect BBMO, to my understanding, so it would be nice to be able to get rid of those annoying comments and replace them with our own stuff.
