TOP OF THE SIXTH
Jason Bartlett walked. <--1>
Lee Beckett grounded to first. <--1>
Kevin Reese grounded to short. <--1>
Jason Bartlett stole second. <-2->
Jerry Seybert walked. <-21>
Mike Jacobs grounded to second. <-21>
0 runs, 0 hits, 0 errors, and 2 left on base.
In the middle of the sixth, the game is tied at 6.
Either Barlett is the dumbest baserunner ever to make it to the majors...or the fastest (to run to 2B and back without getting putout).
This is a very common Play by Play bug/problem/readout, etc

Huh? He walks, with 2 down he steals second, then another guy walks so Bartlett is on 2nd and Seybert is on 1st. What's weird about that?

you see nothing weird with Bartlett walking to first, the next batter Beckett grounds out to first and Bartlett STAYS on first, then the next batter Reese grounds out to the SS and Bartlett STAYS on first?
that's not weird to you?
then there is this instance:
BOTTOM OF THE FIRST
Jeff Francis takes the mound for the Superbas.
Kenny Perez lined out to right. <--->
James Loney walked. <--1>
The Nationals put on the hit and run.
Brendan Harris struck out. <--1>
Matt Holliday singled to left, advancing the runner to third. <3-1>
Hideki Matsui grounded to the shortstop. <3-1>
0 runs, 1 hit, 0 errors, and 2 left on base.
At the end of the first, Washington trails 1 to 0.
With Loney on first, the Nationals put on the hit and run and the batter Harris strikes out...what happened to Loney? did he reach 2B and then run all the way back to 1B?
odd.
then there is this hit and run bug:
BOTTOM OF THE SIXTH
Jason Young came in to pitch for the Superbas. <--->
Cesar Crespo pinch hit for Tim Hudson. <--->
Cesar Crespo singled to right. <--1>
Kenny Perez grounded to the third baseman. <--1>
The Nationals put on the hit and run.
James Loney grounded to the third baseman. <--1>
Brendan Harris singled through the right side. <-21>
Matt Holliday grounded to the third baseman. <-21>
0 runs, 2 hits, 0 errors, and 2 left on base.
At the end of the sixth, Washington trails 4 to 3.
With a man on 1B, the Nationals put on a hit and run (from same game as earlier)... the batter Loney grounds out to third. The runner stays on 1B?? wtf.

Well, with the hit and run thing - Kenny Perez could've been thrown out at 2nd, and now Loney's on first.

Loney must have smoked the ball to the 3B for him to have time to throw out the guy going to 2B who had a huge headstart? :(

Yeah, i know. It's definitely odd, but not impossible.
