Hey guys. I know I haven't been releasing rosters on a regular basis, but I figured I'd put one out there updated as of today. The rosters are completely accurate, althouh Jason Johnson is not in Single-A for the Red Sox because he'll be back up when the break ends.
Also, I've been very busy working on my high-resolution photos for my rosters, and I'm only a day or two away from being done I think. You're really going to like them I think. Here is the roster, and some examples of photos.

Hey guys, I just wanted to tell you ahead of time about one thing I'm doing for this high-res set. Hopefully this won't be too confusing.
Okay, so when a guy changes teams during the season, most official team sites edit a low-res photo of that player with a new cap and uniform. Here is the most recent example - Aubrey Huff to the Astros:
http://houston.astros.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_333492.jpg
Now, I could enlarge this and use it in my set. The problem is it would not be high resolution. I have decided NOT to use these low-res edited photos in my set. Instead, I will use the high-resolution pictures for ALL players available. The only downside is that they are all taken during spring training, so the team will not be accurate if that player changes teams midseason.
Here is what that edited, low-res Huff pic would look like if I used it:

Now, here is his high-res pic taken with the Devil Rays during spring training:

The only advantage to the low-res one is that he is in the correct cap. However, I think the drop-off in quality is not worth it, and here's why. What happens if you start a dynasty in 2006 with a current roster of mine. Aubrey Huff is on the Astros. Now what happens if he gets traded to the Dodgers? You have a crappy, low-res pic of him in an Astros cap instead of a high-res pic of him in the Devil Rays cap.
I figure if you're going to have pictures of guys in caps of teams that they aren't currently on in your dynasty, they might as well be quality pics. Hopefully you guys agree, I think you will.
Anyway, I should be finished with the ENTIRE set sometime today. I'll let you know when I upload it!

Im pretty sure it includes any player who has a hi-res photo on MLB.com, which is usually any player who played in spring training or is a top prospect. Chris can better confirm this though.

Justin Verlander throws 98-100, not 88-90.

I'm sure I could be of help in getting the photos of every player on their right team. Surely it's impossible to get a truly exact photo that looks like it was taken with their right uniforms on them, but it's easier when the uniform tops are all one color. For example, in this Aubrey Huff photo, I had to crop the Devil Ray stripes off the uniform, and it was hard to include the maroon on the top. However, at a glance, it clearly conveys that he is on the Astros.
I'm sure I could do better, but it's almost midnight!! :)
Enjoy this. If you guys want me to help out, I could probably be of assistance.

I would use your help, but I honestly don't think it's worth it. Like I said before, the players change teams in the dynasty so it's not going to make a difference if Huff's pick has an Astros or D-Rays hat if he's on, say, the Dodgers in 2007 in your dynasty.

You're right. Teams change so much it shouldn't matter. However, if anybody wants anybody's headshot changed, just ask. I'm sure I could help you out.
