Is it possible to publish a list of features that are not documented in the user manual.doc (nor in the html help included with the game)? Maybe it can be placed in these forums?
I am very new to the game (bought BBM2007 last week), and find that I don't know or understand many of the features which seem to only come up in these forums (and are sometimes difficult to search through).
A couple of things that come to mind:
(1) Spring training items - e.g., ability of veteran pitchers to teach a teammate one of their pitches (I have tried spring training yet, so I really have no clue how it works - the manual & html help don't seem to address it at all)
(2) Player contract items - e.g., explanation of how arbitration works, explanation of how the player and team option clauses work (does the team get first chance to exercise or player?), when & how you can release a player (how is the payoff determined?)
(3) Farm system items - e.g., does 'early' promotion impact player growth, what is a typical range of ratings for R, A, AA & AAA?
I am drawing a bit of a blank on the other nuggets of information I've learned here, but although I really like this game, I think the manual and help files are a bit lacking in information.
Thank you.
