Here it is. The file is about 43 megs, but its well worth it! Here's the info:

This is an all-new set of portrait photos for use with Baseball Mogul 2007. It includes high-resolution photos for nearly every current Major League player and player on the roster who has appeared in the Majors at one time or another.

This set includes high-resolution photos for every player possible on my roster. If you use my photos with my roster and a player does NOT have a high-res photo, it is because he does not have one on MLB.com.

These photos look great and are much better than the old ones. I really hope it enhances your experience with Baseball Mogul!

To install these photos, unzip them, then copy and paste all the pictures into the appropriate folder. By default, this should be:
C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2007\Skins\Sports Mogul\Photos\Portraits

ATTENTION!

I will be releasing an add-on to this set in the coming days. This add-on will include high-resolution photos of players from HoustonGM's roster (mostly free agents) that are on his but not my roster. I will do high-res photos for every player I can find that has one, just like I did with mine. I'm doing this so you can get the most out of my photo set and still use his rosters. I'm releasing it as an add-on so I can give you the main set today!

Attached is a roster that is accurate as of today! I've re-rated many minor leaguers and free agents and I think this will make the game better! Check it oout!

I just noticed that Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier's photo is misspelled. To fix this, delete his low-res photo and re-name the high-res photo "AndreEthie."

Or if you want, just download this photo and paste it into the folder.

Hello all! Thanks much to Mr. Nelson for his great work on this photo set. I did happen to find another misspelling though... :) Dave Weathers should be "DaveWeathe" not "DavidWeath" I also found a pretty decent image for Mr. Pedroia attached below. And looking for a pic for Red's fire-balling prospect Richie Gardner, I was wondering if minorleaguebaseball.com or collegiate athletics' sites might happen to have an official press photos section like mlb.com does. That'd be really nice considering the ones I found of Richie are less than desirable (attached below) But much thanks awsytn for all the Twin's prospect images he submitted. Great quality, I wonder where he found em all? Yeah there's quite a few other prospects I'd like to find too, just wish there'd was a good source for them like mlb.com's high-res section. Well keep up the excellent work guys!

Yeah the Weathers thing is not a mistake. I do all my names according to MLB.com, and on there he is David so that's what he is on my roster and in my photo set.

I think 1.6 of his roster was before me and him got together on making these pics compatible for both of our rosters. We're going through his and he's renaming some guys that need it. His next release should fit completely with mine, and of course I'll be releasing that photo set add-on that includes photos of every possible player that is on his roster but not mine.

I just noticed that Rangers pitcher Scott Feldman has the wrong photo on MLB.com and in my set. You might as well delete his photo in the folder, because it is of Cubs outfielder Matt Murton.

My photo set comes with a photo for nearly every player in my roster, including the prospects. Some of the photos are poor quality though. The only players without both a potrait and an action photo are the ones that I couldn't find one for. If you use my rosters, I suggest first downloading my photos, and then downloading these and pasting them over mine.

A tip from one fellow photo provider to another... delete the thumbs.db file from your zip. It will probably save you around 11MB. :)

Forget any of my old portrait sets. This is the set you want, because it includes all high-res photos plus any of the old photos from my old sets if those players didn't have high-rest shots. This set is essentially the same set as my old ones, except it includes high-res photos of every player possible.

As for Houston's roster, he's coming out with the next version soon, and that will be the first that is fully compatible with my rosters. I should have my add-on with extra photos for use with his roster out in the next few days.

I have a version, but I've yet to release it. I'm waiting for this cr@p that makes relievers overall rating really low to be fixed so I can go through and reedit players and then release it, so it migth be a while =\.

when I uncompressed the file it was 94.7mb wow big file but worth it.
I could not get your action photos to work.... the file ran and everything but they never made it into the actions folder, any ideas?

Also how do I get the action photos to display during game play.? During my game play the portraits photos are aways displayed I never see the action photos?

I can put the Action Photos into a zip and upload them if you want.

The action photos are for the Headlines section, the part with news stories. If you want the Action Photos to show in player profiles, you'd have to put them in the Portraits folder. I prefer the portraits for this, but it's personal preference.

Another way to show action photos in the Portraits folder is to just rename the Portraits folder to anything besides Portaits, or simply delete the entire folder if you know you don't want those pictures.

Without both Action and Portrait folders, Action is used in the leaderboards and headlines, while Portrait is used for scouting reports.

Good to know about the uses of the two folders, Ill at least use the action photos for the Boston RedSox, I have my own set of action shots for this, just for the RedSox.

NO problem... quick question the roster file I downloaded was called universe.mog I thought that was a saved game file? I thought roster files were cvs files? I guess I dont know know how to use this file unless I load it as a saved game or something, wont that intefferre with my current season.

Paste it into the Mogul folder. Start Mogul, and click Start New Game. For the start year, select "Custom Universe" and choose my file. Choose your team, and that's it.

Don't thank me, thank Ruben Sierra (but not for his overall horrendous play). I was searching all over for good Twins pics, and for some reason I looked at a picture of Sierra on redwingsbaseball.com. I noticed the URL, http://www.redwingsbaseball.com/images/team/2006/Sierra.jpg, and figured I'd take a shot and see if any other Twins had their pictures on the site, plugged in name-after-name, and most of them came up. Just plug in the last name of the player you're looking for (it's case-sensitive for some reason) and he might be there. If it's a common last name, like White (as in Rondell), you may have to use 'WhiteR' (and again, it's case sensitive) or even the entire first name for others. Play around with it. Thanks for the Pedroia pic by the way. Here are three pics I don't think I put in the last set, for Josh Rabe (newly promoted to the big club), Trent Oeltjen (Futures Game participant), and Whit Robbins (4th round pick this year who's playing 3B & hitting .355/.455/.629 in 62 ABs at low-A Beloit).

HIGH-RES PHOTO SET ADD-ON DOWNLOAD ATTACHED

This photo set is an add-on to my original high-resolution photo set. This set includes any photos for new players on my own roster. Also included are high-res photos of every player on HoustonGM's roster that have such photos available.

I recommend that everyone adds this set to my original high-res set, whether you use my rosters or HoustonGM's to play Baseball Mogul.

As always, the default folder for portraits photos is:
C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2007\Skins\Sports Mogul\Photos\Portaits

I don't see the need for the change. They work with my rosters and with Houston's. There shouldn't be TOO many discrepancies, so I figure people can always rename a few themselves if they want. I'd rather have the players named correctly according to real life.

MLB.com, edited from large (up to 2336×3504) images they use to get the 90×135 portraits on player pages.
