I am currently running the Yankees. Now there team is set up where the expenses are more than the revenues. However, a lot of the other teams have this problem as well. So, I have not done much to try and correct the problem. I have been generating more revenue, but upon season's end I am going to have to trim the team's salaries. I was wondering? My cash, under expenses has been going down during the season. Why is this? Is this because they have to use the cash to cover some of the debt I am bringing on? Does it get corrected by generating more revenue than expenses I would assume?

Thanks,
Mike

You are correct.

If your revenues are greater than your expenses, then the extra money goes into your bank account as cash.

If the expenses are greater than revenues, then money comes out of the bank (cash) to cover the difference.

You can cut expenses by lowering payroll, or by reducing your spend on Farm/Scouting/Medical.

If your cash goes to zero, then your spening on Farm/Scouting/Medical also goes to zero as your back office slashes expenses.

Cheers,
James
