I'm supposed to be writing two term papers and I keep taking "breaks" to play the game. An hour or more later I'm still playing and can't pull myself away. Is there some way to reduce the addictiveness factor? Seriously, this is my last quarter of school and I need to do well so I can get into grad skool. :(

Sorry. BMM has been proven to be the most addictive game ever. Seriously, just concentrate on school. Trust me.

Creating an entire league from scratch is my favorite part. I can spend hours coming up with goofy team nicknames, oddball players, etc. I just wish I had greater willpower so I could finish the critical stuff, like this bloody %$#?! analysis I've been working on for the past three weeks.
computer games in general tends to hurt my college gpa, but oh well

just wait until you join Baseball Mogul Online...that singlhandly is the most addicting game ever....EVER!!!
Wait till you have 10 leagues to try, they do have 24 hour leagues now....plus the forum, and post pad wars with Mikey, dabs and stieny. JUst posting random stuff on the forum, just to get your post count higher....How about on AIM, where the people you chat with, can be your internet friends, all you do is talk about Baseball Mogul, talk about trades in your league......dang, it is sooo addicting.....

For some reason inspite of me enjoying hockey and football more than baseball due to the lack of pitching the last 20 years and with the steroid stuff uhmmm there is still something about simming baseball. I love the one on one battle between the pitcher and catcher and to be manager and in control of anything and everything is quite a thrill especially when you are trying to recreate or do better than something that happened in real baseball ... like trying to get the '87 Jays to win their div. instead of choking .... baseball just has that magic that fits perfect for a sports sim. Also much more interesting a game than the EA style arcade like games ....
bottom line ... I understand the addiction
