I think that teams should be rewarded with extra cash for home playoff games. They would receive that revenue in real life.

It's a good point. But right now, we do not award playoff revenue because of a few factors:

1) It covers for league fees and the luxary tax in real life
2) Playoff teams are already rewarded by more fan support and increased attendance the next season

However, we might change this in the future.

That's fair enough. As long as the algorithm takes it into account that's good enough for me.
