i would never buy one....your better off buying an old geo metro....things get over 50 mpg i believe.....they need to come out with an entirely elctric plug and drive car with state of the art lithium batteries....i'd buy one of those

Or even a Nash Metro. It gets between 27 and 39 miles to a gallon.

My friend has a 1979 Dodge aspen that gets about 4 mpg in light driving, and when you're heavy on the gas, it gets gallons per mile. When the gas pedal is all the way down, you can watch the gas gauge move.

There is apparently a modification for the prius that can do that, I saw something about it in Popular Science.
The Honda Insight does get very good gas mileage, more than 50, I think around 65.

lol A mercedes benz e320 with the diesel engine gets about that.
