I cant seem to find his stats in the batting.csv. Is he on vacation?

Your best bet is to use either mine or ChrisJNelson's rosters. The default rosters are missing a lot of top prospects.

You can't do it outside of the game. You have to edit the file you download within the game using the player editor.

Hmmm... well Im a bit of an amateur at this and while I understand how to edit players with in the game very well, I dont know how to save the file so that Im able to use it later. Do you think you would be willing to give me a bit of a walkthrough or point me to one thats already been posted? Thanks a million for all of your help.

I just started up a game (2006 start year) really quick, cuz I have seen him around.

He's on the D-Backs.

Now, I don't know anything about custom rosters, but I downloaded Houston's a while back. I don't know if it "overwrites" the default roster set or is an alternate choice.

Downloading my rosters doesn't overwrite the default things.

Abraxas: Download my rosters, and unzip the file into your baseball mogul folder. The readme file that comes along with it explains how to use them. You start a new game just like you normally would, except you choose Custom Universe instead of 2006 amnd choose my file, and then save it like you would any other game.

u can customize default roster also stick uptonju51 into batting csv and also importantly into roster 2006 csv .
Also note that default csv has certain guys playing at their "old " positions ie upton ss now cf,kory castro 3b now of etc... also houstons roster dead on with this except 1 or 2 really minor blips.

also difficulty 4 default 2 create projections 4 guys who havent even 1 season of Rookie ball only way is to slug fest it by either editing player by playerin commish mode or edit directly csv files with consequences of sometimes screwing up - i forgot to state which league a player was and he suddenly had 0 IP and 488 SV with a rating of 25 took me 15 minutes 2 discover my error
