I started a game with the Mariners in 2006. Three games into the season I was checking the league leaders and noticed that Josh Beckett led the league with 12 IP already. Turns out he started on consecutive days, pitching 7 innings (100 P total) and then 5 innings a day later (77 P). I've seen starters pitch the day after a very short outing, but not after seven innings of work.

this could've been a very long extra-innings game and the manager used everyone else thinking he'd have enough pitching later on.

BBM 2k6? :p

It's a bug thats been heavily reported before...the comptuer needs to take account the days a pitcher needs rested before deciding the starter.

It's 2k7, just with the 2k6 skin. 2k6 didn't have splits.
