I'm a Tigers fan since they won the World Series in 1984 when I was 10. I also grew up as a Cincy Bengals fan as they were good in the 80's and went to two Super Bowls. What makes me mad is that during the 90's, and now I rarely came across fellow Tiger or Bengals fans and now that both those teams are good agian its like they are coming out of the woodwork. Just disgusts me how many people just go with a team like its a current fad. I wore my Tigers,Bengals hats and jersey's even when those teams were some of the worst in Sports.

Anyway I'm proud and very excited that both these franchises are on there feet agian in MLB and NFL. As for the NBA well I was a Bad Boys Pistons fan from the G:Joe Dumars days but even though the Pistons have been champions agian recently I just don't care about the NBA...it sucks. Game is just not the same.

It's the same deal in Boston. Pats fans are everywhere now. Red Sox "fans" are some of the worst bandwagon jumpers of all though. The new fans made it into a religion. The whole Theo and the trio business and the supposed "Red Sox Nation" BS. You can't talk to most of them about anything baseball related. My current favorite gripe of these people is the Bronson Arroyo for Wily Mo Pena trade. They loved Bronson and ripped the Sox for trading a #4-5 starter for a young power hitter. Now that Pena is getting comfortable here he's starting to hit. He recently hit two homeruns that were still rising while going over the wall. Bronson is now finding his level in Cinci. Suddenly they knew it all along, Bronson was good because of strong run support but the new fans couldn't tell you that. They liked him because he had cornrows and played guitar..........oh yeah, he also pitched for the Red Sox once in a while..........

I would love to have Bronson in Seattle...I wish we traded Reed for Bronson....he is just as good as Clement, young and cheap....

The fair weather fans in boston are unbelieveable. I used to go to 10 games a year, now I'm lucky if I can go to 2. I went to 4 playoff games in 1999, 1 the next round, and haven't been to one since.
