Why does it seem like any player who stays in the independent leagues for a whole season plays for four different teams? It clutters up the scouting report (see attached pic) and makes it kind of confusing since most indy leagues are near the same color as college/high school stats. Shouldn't players stick in one league each year, even if they switch to a different league the next season?

Side note: also, in that screenshot is the 2nd league from the top supposed to mean Russia or something? That's kind of cool in a weird, how'd-that-happen way.

This has been noted before and, I seem to recall, Clay was going to fix the multiple independent leagues in one season problem as well as drop from the BBM universe those players who become mired in the independent leagues.

The new retirement code seems to have taken care of this part fairly well. it's ok if a few players play out a couple of seasons in outlaw leagues here and there, in my opinion.

True, but a player still should play for a single league, not play in Japan, DomRep, Korea, and Lower Slobbovia all in the same year.

Scott Adams (of the Dilbert cartoon) pretty much copied his "Elbonia" from Al Capp's (of the Little Abner cartoon) "Lower Slobbovia".
