I have been an avid player of Baseball Mogul for a long time now. A few weeks ago I had to switch laptops and I now, unfortunately, have a Mac, not by choice. I am wondering if Baseball Mogul is available for Mac or if it ever will be. Or is there someway or somewhere to play Baseball Mogul on my Mac?

You should do Baseball Mogul Online. It's better anyways.

Shoot. I didnt get a Mac by choice. I was required for my major. And I have thought about the online version, but I like the game itself, mainly because I don't have to be online.

Just going by a vague memory, I don't think there are any plans in the near future for Mogul on Macs. BBMO is available on any computer though. I don't play BBMO (at least not yet), but from what I hear, it's awesome.

So my next qustion then, the fee for the online version...is this a one time fee or is it a monthly thing or per season or what?

"Premium Leagues start at $4.95 per month. Or create a Platinum Account and the price drops to less than $1.00 per team. "

There are Windows emulators for Macs, perhaps on of them would allow you to play it?

Don't Macs now have the ability to run Windows anyway or is that just false advertising?

yes they do, the intell macs, But really it isnt practical to buy WINxp and run two os. I am assuming that his major requires the software that runs on apples....

WINxp can run from $200-$300 based on what version you get...(home or pro)

BMO is 10times better than the cd version. You get to play against 29 other human owners, the best competition.

BTW: I deleted daves post.

Yeah, the new Intel-based Macs can run Windows programs. Older Macs can run BBM via Virtual PC.

Well, I'm not really the most tech savvy person so a lot of that stuff you guys just said doesn't mean much to me, but I can say that I don’t have Windows on my Mac nor do I wanna pay for it.

I do wonder if an emulator would work. Anyonw know or tried?
cubsman43, here are a few links to emulators if you want to give them a try.
www.macwindows.com/emulator.html
www.iemulator.com
www.microsoft.com/mac/products/virtualpc/virtualpc.aspx?pid=virtualpc (virtualPC)

I haven't tried any of those, not having a mac, but if anyone has I'd be very interested to hear their experiences.
