I lost more than half of my position players

After I released a player from my team I lost over half of my position players. I hit the auto sort button and nothing happened. Can anyone tell me what to do

As the commish of this league something like this threatens the whole league he had a great team making it to the WS the last two years and the playoffs every year,Please do something right away or if I was him I'd try another league and people are already jumping ship in my league as it is.I hope you see the great concern this causes everyone,a guy puts 4 months of real time into a game and all of a sudden his championship quality team is gone I would be seeking a refund in his shoes:confused:

Click the Auto-Sort button and your players will reappear.

Yes, if you press auto-sort those players should re-appear. We are currently working to fix this bug! Sorry for the inconvienance

Like it says in his post he tried this and nothing happened,the players are gone and don't show up in the find player screen,this is a major problem imagine waking up and finding Nomar,Manny and more gone from your team,please fix this ASAP,HE ALREADY TRIED THE AUTO-SORT and it didn't work there is more to this than that.:confused:

I had it happen myself a couple days ago. Try the auto-sort on the PITCHERS page. When I went back to the batters they had come back.

I tried the pitcher auto sort and it didn't work. Man I wish it had worked becaused I really liked the team that I had. It sucks because the guys from my team are erased and can't even participate in the league.

JordsJays, we are going to do our best to fix it ASAP, but if you really want it not to affect your league, put the league in pause mode until we can fix it.

I have looked into the situation and I can confirm that Nomar and Manny (among others) have disappeared. I looked for them elsewhere in the DB using our own tools and was unable to find them.

We have been runnings hundreds of leagues for several months and this is the first time I have seen this bug. But it is rather serious and it concerns my so I am working to find out what caused it.

In the meantime, we should figure out the best way to improve the current situation. We have a back from Friday, roughly 7 simulated weeks earlier (June 5, 2005).

I can copy Boston's roster from June 5 to the current database, and correct their won-loss percentage to equal that before the error. I think this is the best solution and will do so if I don't here otherwise from the commish.
