Making defensive adjustments/replacements in PBP mode results in pretty odd behavior.
1) Go into PBP Mode
2) When I was pitching I substituted someone in from my bench (ie into the Left Field position)
3) I then swapped them with the second basemen (using the 'up' and 'down' buttons to move the players around).
4) Going back into PBP mode, I then noticed that each clicking on the 'up' and 'down' buttons appeared to decrement the number of outs in the inning*. So in the attached example, I had to get 11 outs in the inning to advance in the game.
* Edit: After further review, any change in the defense decrements the 'out' count by 8 runs.
