ACTIVE GM LEAGUE

I make a challege to any owner who thinks they have what it takes to turn around a struggling franchise into a contender. There are openings in one of the most exciting, sometimes called most controversial league, around. It is none other than the Active GM League. We are in our fourth season and it keeps getting better every season. So come join now while we have the now only 7 openings before it's too late. Below are the rules of the league so you know what your getting into.

(Rules)
I would like to welcome all who have chosen to become part of what will quickly become one of the most competitive leagues around. As your commissioner, I will keep things in order, I am on atleast once everyday, sometimes more. Everything will be kept in order and smooth running. I will be checking messages on the post board daily and will try and resolve any problems in the league. Now for the rules of the league.

1.) All GM's must login once every 2 days.
--- If this is not done, then a warning will be issued to the gm who has not logged in, if there is no response within 2 days, that gm will be removed from the league, ZERO TOLERENCE FOR INACTIVE OWNERS!!!

2.) All Team Names Must be The real teams name
---reason for this is to keep the realism of being a gm of a pro baseball team, any gm who changes the team name will be given a warning, and if it is not changed witihin 2 days, then that gm will be removed.

3.) Trades with the computer are legal only if there are less than 26 human run teams.

4.) Only one team per GM
--- If i find that one person owns more than one team in the league or if there is some sort of team playing going on, such as if a gm has a friend joing the league and trade all the good players to his team, both owners will be removed form the league and reported to baseball moguls higher powers.

5.) The sim speed stays as is. This is a 10 game a day sim, this will not change.

These are the basic rules, if there are any other things you would like to see, please post them on the board. I hope to see many GM's using the board to post messages and interact with other GM's. Well good luck, enjoy the season, and maybe my redsox will see you in the series!!!

I am going on my second year in the Active GM League and I have nothing but good comments for it. We currently have 7 openings and are fastly approaching free agency. I would strongly recommend anyone that is looking to join a league to join this one. It is a very competitive league that is ran very well by our commissioner, Draven88. Hope to see you in the league soon, Are you really that good?

Hello. First time posting here, but I had to comment.

I've been a Baseball Mogul fan for a loooonnnnnng time, but have neither done on-line Baseball Mogul RP, much less the kind of RP where league files are swapped. I would like to thank Baseball Mogul for putting this game together. Of course, if *I* put it together, I would have added a few more stats but I am NOT COMPLAINING. I'm grateful for what I have!!

When I was looking for a league, I noted that the level of participation and the management of the Active GM League were very strong. There was good day-to-day hands-on oversight and a lot of communication between GMs and the commissioner. The pace of 10 games a day is excellent -- it gives you a chance to make changes as needed without matters racing out of your control league-wide. There was none of the constant franchise-shifting and monkey business I had noticed in the other leagues. I'm BIG on realism, and this is the kind of league I wanted.

How much did I like the Active GM League? So much that with my piddly little Bronze Membership, I took over its worst performing team. I'm in this one for the long haul, and since we have a few more openings left, come and join us for some good baseball roleplay.

i have done baseball mogul for a while now and this is the best league by far. everyone is always participating and competitive in this league. As the defending league champs i challenge anyone to come and try to beat my arizona diamondbacks.

I also have nothing but good things to say about the Active GM League. The competition is excellent, and every GM in the league is highly active. Any aspiring GM out there who likes a challenge should check this one out - it'll get you hooked and coming back for more.

ive been in and out of many leagues, none of them interest me at all, and they are all boring b/c there arent a lot of owners and the ones with a good amount of owners have inactive owners...this league has kept me in it throughout the 2 seasons...i joined this league and havent even considered quitting...i would recommend u join, there are a lot of active, smart, and quality owners...everyone stays active and it is just an all around awesome league...the teams that are available might now look good now, but with a little work they all have the ability to be contenders...everyone is always up to work out a deal...

A note : Cleveland just became available in the league. If you want to steer one of baseball's classic teams to victory, this is the chance! Can't wait for 2005 to start after Tigers/Mets is over. If you want to join and need any kind of help, many of us are on AIM and are willing to answer questions.

I've actually had a lot of fun in the offseason, just chatting with GMs and the commissioner. This isn't the kind of league where they just need a warm body; I really enjoy the give and take among the GMs. Take care and I'll see you in Spring Training!!

This is easilly the most active league I have been in and one of the most fun ones as well. I think if anyone has any openings on their accounts need to get in this one. I am one who really doesn't like pulling trades and I made 6 today and making more speaking to owners on im.

Get in this league to be challenged.

There are only 4 teams left open in The Active Gm League. We are heading into our 6th season, and the league is still alive and strong as it was in day one. We are in the month of August so it's a great time to join and have a little time to get to know your team and get prepared for the upcoming offseason. So come on and join the most successful and long lasting league around.
