In the offseason while I'm signing free agents, after a couple of negotiations, the next player I try comes up on a thin screen and a blue line goes through the screen. Then the game freezes. I don't save often so I've lost several franchises because of this.

what version of BM2K7 are you using?

version shows in the upper right hand corner when you start the game, in the form 9.xx, where xx can be 01-44. 9.43 is the current official version I believe.
Or you can find out by clicking on Help > About Baseball Mogul and it will show you a box with the version at the top, but in a slightly different form: version 9.44 would read Version 9.4.4.0.

I had this happen before. I just waited a minute and the screen went away
