View Full Version : CS% calculation bug [Fixed 9.44G]
I am using version F. In one of my franchises, Pudge has 2 SBA's against him but the CS% for his fielding stats is 33%.

I think SBA is Stolen Bases Allowed and not Stolen Bases Attempted, so if he has 1 runner thrown out or whatever the equivalent is, it's calculating correctly.
It confused me at first too.

The calculation for Caught stealing Percentage (CS%)is :
CS% = (RTO/SBA) X 100
Thus in the example his CS% would have fallen to 33% or
(33/100) X (SBA + 2) = RTO

TheJay is right. I was showing 'Stolen Bases Allowed' in the SBA column. But since the Bill James Handbook shows 'Stolen Bases ATTEMPTED' for SBA, I'm changing this for 9.44G.

DO you mean you will show SB's (stolen base achieved as now) or introduce SBA (SB's + RTO's) ? your answer is unclear sorry.....:o

All stolen bases that were attempted, including ones that made it and those that didn't.

The header will still say 'SBA' -- but it will now show 'Stolen Base Attempts' (SB+CS).
