View Full Version : 10.29 Peak fielding ratings don't properly show in editor

On the peak screen, the predicted fielding stats do increase, although the ratings stay at their "current" level. Showing these correctly would greatly help roster makers set current fielding ratings.

...huh?

I understand editing player, peak screen, predicted fielding stats, something about rating... You need to rewrite that. it can be read like three different ways.

He means that while the peak stats for fielding increase (e.g., put-outs, assists, etc.) the ratings don't change. I.e., a CF may currently have an 85-rated arm and is predicted to have 8 assists and 2 double plays, with a peak of 9 assists and 3 double plays, but the 85-rating doesn't change as a peak even though it should.

Right.

here's a bigger example:

3B's current ratings are Arm 68, Range 61, Fielding 75 with Predicted Stats of 150 games, 228 assists, 108 put outs, 17 double plays, and 20 errors.

His peak predicted stats are 150 games, 283 assists, 134 put outs, 21 double plays, and 18 errors, but the ratings are still Arm 68/Range 61/Fielding 75

When it should be 81/77/82 & therefore his PR (Peak rating) should be even HIGHER (by 1/2 points°)

I find it especially bothersome to edit catching prospects' fielding ratings because of this strange bug.

If you check the editor for a prospect, and view his peak ratings, the game will properly project a rating for his arm, but it will not project a rating for range. It WILL project Put Outs, just not an actual range rating.

This was listed as Fixed for 10.34, but it hasn't been. Note that the "Fielding" rating also doesn't change, just the "Arm" rating
