Considering this year especially, Coors Field is less of a hitter's paradise than it used to be. Of course, there's no doubt that the park definitely greatly helps hitters. However, it's effects have lessened lately. Now, for my rosters, I'm not sure what to do. Should I artifically lower the home run effects (as its currently at 186, where 100 is average) by extending the outfield fences? Should I leave it how it is and risk players like Matt Holliday and Garrett Atkins hitting 50 home runs?

I'd love to hear your input.

you can also directly input a vaue for the park's home run effect.

Does that value stay put though?

...I believe it does.

Hm...if I can get confirmation from Clay that it definitely takes the inputted stadium effects into account, than I can make some nice park effects, I think. :p

Cool. Just got confirmation.

Well, now, this leads me to another question - anybody have any sites that have good breakdowns of a stadium's park factors?

Well, there's no minor league stadiums, and it'd take entirely too lnog to adjust each minor league based on park factors.

It was only an extra bit of info that could have been useful (or not as the case maybe);:)

Minor league stadium ratings should be helpful in trying to take minor league numbers and project them into MLB numbers.
