11.04 Transactions page buttons don't work when using Visually Impared option

has anybody else had the problem in the transactions screen were you can't click on any of the three buttons with the different catagories,the year and teams? jsut wanted to report this little problem...

Is anyone else having a problem looking at all the stuff in the transactions screen? mine is like permantly frozen on the amateur draft picks from each year...

I am! I Hope it get fixed! It was working before! They can add to it who was called up,sent down,promoted or demoted,Designed for Assignment if its add and so on!

Do you mean it's stuck like that even after trying to change all the buttons at the top?

Since the 9.43 I havent been able to view the transactions ... it still only has the draft showing... none of the buttons work.

Any 1 else had this problem?

Might be this:
The buttons on the transaction page work different than other buttons in the game. You need to click the mouse button and keep it down while moving the cursor down the popup list to the choice you want, then letting go of the mouse button.

The draft choices screen is also the default screen after a draft occurs.
Anyway, I don't remember there ever being an issue with the transactions screen and I can't find any previous mention of a problem using search. It probably is... well, user error would be the best description.

I've tried holding down the buttons .. I was able to do it prior to thew 9.43 ... now I just cannot check the transactions at all(amateur draft still showing) .. I really need to find when trades happen.

Is there another way to check them?

strange, i've never see a problem like that and I really have no idea what could cause it.

I think that perhaps your game installation has become corrupt somehow. The best bet right now would probably be to ensure that you have a copy of your save game(s) in a safe location, and to reinstall the game.

If you want to keep your current game, all you need to do is copy the .mog file, in the game folder, of your current game (you can get to the game folder easily by selecting Help -> Open Game Folder). You name the file yourself when you save it, usually with your name, team name, and game level in parenthesis. You could also simply copy all .mog files in your game folder as well.

regardless, there's nothing else that needs to be backed up other than your save game(s).

I did a complete re-install .. even deleted the entire mogul folder after the uninstall and the transactions r still screwed :(

let's see. If you don't update the game when you reinstall, does it work then?

When you press on the buttons on the transaction page, does it drop a list of choices down for you to select?

Are you able to change the buttons, but the page itself doesn't change?

Can you scroll up or down on the screen? often, the draft selections are the last thing shown. If you scroll down, there may be other transactions there...

Are you usinga regular desktop computer? Laptop? Any special software?

I'm on a desktop ... Yes, I can scroll thru the draft but the button don't do anything at all when I click on them(b4 I was able to get the drop down to select the team or option). Havent tried to press the buttons after the re-install and b4 the update .. will try and post results.

i am playing with the a's (moved to anaheim by me) and its 1934. after the draft on jan. 17, the transactions bar that says draft picks, retirement, etc. froze can anyone help with this???

No need for two separate threads on the exact same issue. I've merged them together.

I still havent seen this problem myself, and as you can see above I'm basically out of ideas. It may help if both of you post your system specs. Maybe theres something common between your systems?

Also, be sure to try reinstalling the game. It didn't work for Raven, but you never know.

Im currently using baseball mogul2008 10.29 version and I'm having problems with my transactions screen which is locked up. I'm unable to change the display by clicking on the button and therefore i'm unable to view trades, injuries, etc. (I'm currently viewing only draft results) . Can anyone help me?

I think that you're talking about the buttons on the top of the transactions page, which filter the results shown? If so, you need to click and hold the buttons in order to open the menu and select a different view.

Anyway... is the game in the middle of an amateur draft right now? What is the game date?

I'm currently using baseball mogul 2008 10.29 version and having problems with the transactions screen. I'm unable to move off from the amatuer draft screen, though I've clicked and held the buttons as in the past. Therefore unable to monitor trades, retirements,injuries, etc.. Game date is July 20, amatuer draft has been completed. I've lived with it for a while, but it takes away from the game significantly. I've done a pretty fair amount of searching and experimenting,to no avail .

As you can see now that I've merged the thread, there is some history of this. I'm not sure what to tell you, at this point. Maybe there is something in the game that could be causing a problem with this... Hopefully Clay will see the thread now and have an idea.

I believe that I've stumbled upon the solution to this problem. About a month ago I was having problems with a contact lens and set my games to visually impaired within the League Options. I have discovered that when I click off the visually impaired box that everything returns to normal and I'm able to click and scroll and change my transaction options as I had before. Thanks for info and feedback, It made me think to backtrack to approximately when the issue surfaced. Everything is ok now.....
