In my league, the computer has an annoying tendency to acquire several high-quality players at the same position, and split playing time between them. Apologies if this isn't the correct forum to place this query, but I'm wondering if there is a way to limit the computer tendency to create platoon-lineups? The strategies function doesn't seem to cover it.

Are you running the most recent patch? The AI when it comes to that has been improved for 9.45.

Again, it has to be on a recent patch - in the League Editor, there is a "platooning" slider.

Just be aware that adjusting the "platoon" slider in league editor effects all teams equilly. As a matter of fact, you the user can completely ignore the platoon slider value and set your lineups manually. the auto-sort AI will, however, be adjusted based on the value of the slider, across all ai teams.

I'm not saying don't use it, just be an informed user is all. Also, houstonGM is correct in that you really need to be using the latest patch. Even if your currently in the middle of a game.

I was apprehensive about downloading patches because I was already well into a game and I was not sure how or if it would affect it. Now I know better.
