Why did it sim?

I am the commish of the Pure Baseball League. The game was set to sim on April 22nd. However, we have reached our minimum number of owners, 10 and it appears the game went ahead and simmed the first couple of days, despite the start time being April 22, 2002 9ET. Any answers?

What effects would happen if I was to reset the game?

Not sure why it simmed, might have gotten confused about your minimum number of owners. If you were to reset the league, it would go back to as if it were before the first season. So, everything would be as before your first sim that you didn't intend to happen.
