It has been announced that the new GM of the Cleveland Indians will be Hosh. They plan to build around there already powerhouse offense and add some much needed starting pitching in the months and years to come.

First things first though and we really need to free up some cap room. We released Derek Lilliquist (P), Cliff Young (P), Scott Scudder (P), Alvaro Espinoza (SS), Herb Perry (3B), Chan Perry (1B), and finally Einar Diaz (C).

The next thing we needed to do was take care of some of the guys that their contracts were running out at the end of this season. Bob Ojeda received a 2-year extension. Albert Belle got a 3-year extension. Jose Mesa was given a 4-year extension. Charles Nagy and Carlos Baerga received 5-year extension. Finally last but certainly not least in the eyes of the Cleveland Indians. Sandy Alomar received a 6-year extension.

So heres how our opening day lineup is shaping up.
