The Tigers commited 4 errors in a row against me. 5 in the inning, and 7 in the game. I was afraid some had gone seriously wrong when they committed four errors in a row.

Don Baylor didn't come to terms with anyone for the first 9 days of the season, so he played in the Dominican Republic. When someone did finally pick him up he went on to hit 40+ homers and 110 RBI's.

Not particularly weird, but I traded Cecil Cooper and a prospect for Vida Blue. Cooper suffered a torn rotator cuff and will be out for 1 1/2 seasons. The A's really got the shaft on that deal.

you think those are weird? try this:

i won a game 21 to 5 last night, in fourteen innings. How? Well, I simmed the game from the calendar, then looked at the box score. The game was 5-5 up until the 14th inning, where suddenly my Diamondbacks discovered their swing, batting around TWICE and scoring 16 runs.

thank goodness it was an away game, or it would have only been 6-5. :)
