I mean, yikes, what's with all the injuries? I know the Cards have had some good teams derailed by injuries in the past several years, but come on already. This is getting disgusting. Andy Benes, Garrett Stephenson, Rick Ankeil, and Woody Williams (4 starters no less) are all on the DL, and Benes is not likely to return in a Cardinals uniform (not that I'm too broken up about that). Bud Smith is day-to-day with arm fatigue, J.D. Drew has a sore knee, and you don't even want to know what's keepind Jim Edmonds out of the lineup. And we get swept by the Brewers in a 4-game series? They were 3-12 before they swept us.
Hopefully, we'll get some of our pitchers back soon, or this is going to be a long year for Redbird fans.
