If I'm a bit out of character for a while. I just found out last night that my 15 year old cat Fenway(named after fenway park)has less then 2 weeks left. He has had cancer for over a year now and for the longest time he was getting better. But over the last month his cancer has begain to get much much worse. We've tried everything for him but its not working now. We were giving him chemo in food but he has sopeeed eating ti for about 2 weeks now. He also has a bad heart murmer(grade 3 i think?) The doctors say theres actually around a 15% chance he will die on christmas day:( My family has decided not to put him down becuase he is still happy and energetic. All of this coming not even 100 days after my dog died. Well just thought you guys might want to know why i might be out of character for a while.

I'm sorry RedSoxFan. The loss of a pet is definitely hard. I lost my dog of nearly 12 years at the end of August. It was really difficult.

I just realized that he hasn't actually passed yet. My advice to you is to spend as much time with him as possible. Maybe try to relive some of the good memories you have with him. Savor your final moments with him, you know?

Nov. of 03' I lost 2 cats which were older than me at the time. It's a devastating blow but at least you have the ability to spend some good final few days.

Well, it happened. Yesterday he just had no energy left, he couldn't even walk. Late last night, around midnight he died. Well, at least he was happy. It sounds mean to say but it was a good time for him to go. The cats owner's birthday was tomorow and that would have just been terrible if he died on his birthday.(The owner was my dad)
