So I've decided to begin working on an accurate player database for this game. From what I can tell, and correct me if I'm wrong, there is no way to save the roster in such a way that you can load it when starting a new game. That being the case, here is how you will have to use this and all subsequent roster releases changes are made to the game:
1) Download file and place it in your Football Mogul 2007 folder, which is usually located at "C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Football 2007."
2) Run Football Mogul 2007.
3) Select "Resume a Previously Saved Game."
4) Choose my file - named 'Roster' unless you've renamed it - from the folder.
If you want to use this file for play, simply follow the steps above and then take these additional steps:
5) Select Tools > League Editor from the menu bar.
6) Click the 'All CPU' button and click 'Yes'.
7) Choose the team you wish to play as from the drop-down menu near the top-left corner.
8) Type your name in the space provided near the bottom left corner and click 'Done'.
9) Go to Tools > Options and uncheck the Commissioner Mode box.
10) Click 'OK' and you're ready to play.
Take a look at what I've done. At this point, I have only fixed the Arizona Cardinals. If you feel like it, go to www.azcardinals.com and compare. It should be dead on, including the depth chart. The only player I've left off is their long snapper, Nathan Hodel, simply because the game doesn't use the position and he'd basically just be taking up space. I've fixed player named, edited ratings to ensure correct starting lineups and attempt to make the game more realistic (though I've yet to simulate and see what stats I get).
Remember, this is just a preview and any comments or suggestions are welcome. If you'd be interested in an entire roster like this then let me know.
