It's nice to see your farm system produce a player who goes on to hit 500 plus home runs but I would like to see how that matches up in the record books. I would like to see Player X be 3rd on the all time hits list. I think this would be a very cool modification to the game, especially since we're tracking Barry's pursuit of Hank.

Another thing I would like to mention would be stadium upgrades. It would be cheaper than building a new stadium but you could improve "Sight Lines" or other stadium attributes.

I would also like to see a dialog box for the low morale players. When a player does not get the promotion that he thinks he deserves, he could come to you and demand a trade or something... I'm not quite sure how this will work but I think it would be interesting to see that in the game.

I would also like to train players to play more than one position when they enter the minor leagues. Of course there would be a learning curve on this but I think it would be appropriate since many clubs attempt to train their minor leaguers to fill positions that they are lacking at the major league level. Maybe you guys can implement a second position attribute to this which would include characteristics such as INF, OF, in addition to the standard positions.

well two of the three things are already there. You can check the All-time leaders and you can already change the position a player plays. as far as the morale they need to fix all the bugs with that before morale becomes more meaningful in the game.

Even the morale issue is already handled in the current game, although not nearly as forcefully as deltro desires it to be. The players scouting reports do reflect quite clearly their unhappiness at going to or remaining in the minors when they are major league ready. There could be occasional headlines stories about some of the more high profile players who happen to still be in the minors though, and such a thing could be refreshing for the current lackluster (or should I say stale?) headlines feature.

The ability to slot minor league players into a specific position (or role for pitchers) is something that myself and others have been talking about and outright asking for for the past several months. I'm still convinced that something about this (short of full fledged minor league systems, which I've never really been a huge proponent of anyway) really does need to be implemented, even though the AI probably won't use it at all for the time being. The auto-sort's ability to play players out of position now is a great first step, and I'd love to see that be built on.

deltro, if you click the banner at the top of the leader board page, it's actually a button that will change the board to display career and all time stats. That's what Brewersfan was referring to above. I'd also like to say thank you to you brewers for a terrific first reply. You know me though, gotta say something as well.

I would REALLY love to see the ability to do this with pitchers especially. If I have a 17 or 18 year old flame-throwing relief pitcher that I would like to convert to a starter (or vice versa), the only way that this can be done right now (that I know of) would be having them on the Major League roster as a starting pitcher and taking a total beating for 3 or 4 seasons (pitching 1 or 2 innings in each game), at which time their 20 endurance rating may still only be at 30 to 40. Of course, that totally ruins their career statistics and is far from reality. Just another idea. Ahh, someday someday!
