SS or 3B?

I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I am controling cincy in the London Baseball league and had a injury arise. I find what looks to be a SS on the bench and place him in for Larkin, but when I look at the scouting report I see that he is a third baseman. Which screen do I go by, the lineup or scouting report?

i've seen that as well. i have a guy on my bence who on the lineup screen it says he's a 3rd basemen, but on his player card it says he's a first basemen. which one is it?

The Defense screen is the most accurate list in terms of what positions the guy can play overall.

The scouting card tends to show what position he has played MOST RECENTLY.

Oh, ok thanks for the reply. Now I know that I acually do have a shortstop and not the thirdbaseman. Thats cool so we can see if a player is playing a different position more than his normal position.
