I've seen that message a couple of times recently, also for one of my catchers. I've assumed it's happening because I platoon two catchers pretty equally (two guys with very similar abilities, though one hits lefties better than the other -- and they both have a 79 health rating so I want to be careful with both of them). Generally I play one about three games, then the other one for two. So the number of appearances/innings played for this guy seemed low for a starter... but when that message appeared he was in that starting slot.
