In one league I'm in I continually for the last 6 or seven seasons have had the top scouting and in the top three in farm. This means I am spending between 150 and 250 points per year on farm. I keep producing stud position players, for instance three all-star caliber catchers in three years. But I have not developed one starting pitcher who has potched in the majors. In fact I can remember only one pitcher with over a D in endurance. Why the complete lack of pitching development?

that is what i said in my post Super Rookies (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php3?s=&threadid=13296), or at least part of what i said. It's like teams pump out 20 year olds with an A grade in contact, power, and eye. every team has like 2 guys that have grades like that. but when you first start a new league, there are maybe 2 guys in the whole league like that, which is more realistic. That makes every owner want those two players, but when every team has a handful of guys like that, nobody trades.

A really good pitcher is a lot rarer to come by than a real good hitter. I have noticed it in BBM, but also, it is somewhat how it happens in real life. You are not going to get many incredible pitchers coming out too often, but i have gotten 2 or 3 with my farm system that was ranked 1st for 3 years or so. Do you think the hitting outweighing the pitching is like real life or overly dramatic?

There is some validity to it but it swings too far. I am getting no pitching out of my system. I would like to see the new feature from 2003 where you can adjust the players you are trying to produce.
