I just purchased and downloaded this game, and I have to say that this was a waste of time and money. Not only are there a lot of bugs in this game, but it also crashes every 5 minutes...losing game progress. I just completed playing a game in play-by-play mode and as soon as I was finished it crashed and that game was wiped. So I just wasted a good 40 minutes for nothing! Are they offering refunds for this piece of ****?

First of all, did you download the unofficial patch 5.130? Did you bother to look at the other topics on the bug report forum to find answers to the crashing? Turn off the news ticker and the "computer offer trades" on tools then option menu so it will not crash. Also, you could change the speed from normal to instant so you do not waste as much time waiting on the options as well.

Yes I've downloaded the new patch, I downloaded it as soon as I installed the game. I have not tried the other options you mentioned, I'll do that now. If that solves the problem then thanks!

I also don't really want my money back because the game itself is entertaining outside of the crashing! But if they could spend almost the same amount of time developing Football Mogul as they do with Baseball Mogul, this game could be incredible.

I think the first baseball mogul is 3+ years older then the first football mogul and football mogul is fairly new so which each revision and new game year it will get better. Football Mogul 2007 is like ps3+wii while Football Mogul 2004-2005 I think is like a sega genesis-super nintendo, lol. I'm fairly new myself so I don't really know the history...

Actually, the difference in development time is more like 5 more years of full time development on Baseball Mogul. Football has been a product for... 3 years prior to this year, but even then it's never received the full time development that Baseball Mogul has. So, 3 half years of development for football vs. 8 years of full development for Baseball... something like that.

It is still a fun game. You just shouldn't expect the polish of Baseball Mogul, really.

Sports Mogul recently lost a programmer for Football Mogul. They actually had 3 people working on this: Clay, Ian and Andrew and his company... but the partnership feel thru :(

Yup, it hasn't crashed since turning those options off. Been playing nonstop since. But yeah that's pretty much what I figured, is that they either didn't have enough manpower to help program this game or not enough funding or something.
