I hate the salary cap

I would really like to turn this off to create more realistic none US based leagues. Since teams in Europe are unlikely to blow $120 million on anything, how can I turn this off. I have read that you can type 999 into the league editor, but when I do the game resets this to $30 mill. Please help, because I really like this game!

Good idea. I support this as well, since having a choice is better than not...

I had to move it from Bug reports though, since it's not actually a bug. Like I said though, It's a great suggestion.

Cheers Ohm. Sorry if I put this in the wrong place. I though it was a bug because on the help it says to type in 999 but it says 'Invalid Entry'? Having said that, I don't really know what a bug is! :)

No problem. The documentation is (obviously) out of date. That is an issue, and it should be dealt with, but it's not actually a bug. A bug is a problem with the software itself... which I guess this could be, if you're supposed to be able to enter 999 and basically turn off the salary cap. Still, the game doesn't crash, it actually tells you that entering 999 isn't something that it will accept...

Regardless, like I said above, it is a good suggestion. There should be a better way to turn off the salary cap, if you desire to do so, other than doing something like entering some ridiculous value as the cap.

I wouldn't complain too much if this got called a bug, given the help files. But this is probably the best forum for it.
