There have been a number of times when there wasn't anyone worth drafting during the 7th round draft. It would be nice if there was a way a coach could end his draft picking earlier instead of drafting an unwanted player and then letting him go when the season started.

Offensive lineman always seem to develop no matter when they are drafted. I've drafted several in the 7th round and then 4 or 5 years later trade them for a 4th round pick at least.

Yeah but getting draft picks from computer teams is like taking candy from a baby. A small baby. Who doesn't like candy anyway...

Thanks for the info. My teams always have lots of cash so I don't need to trade for anything.

The problem is, about 95% of the players still available in the 7th round, are bad kickers and punters.

I usually dispose of my 7th round picks in response to the "Cheater! That's not the trade I agreed to!" bug. Not that I can tell it matters, simply trying again will sometimes go through and sometimes not, and adding the pick may or may not clinch the deal.
