I wanted to float an idea that I just had, here. What would everyone think of having a moderated, "Articles" forum? The idea being that people could post various pieces that are great to read, but aren't the normal discussion type threads that most people will post to.
The primary issue that I see is that the types of threads that I'm thinking of here easily become lost in the normal traffic on the forums. In order to prevent that, the forum would need to be "moderated", which means that posts to that forum will need to be approved by one of the Administrators or Moderators. That should help in this case though, since it would be more for just reading material instead of discussion threads. For an example of a moderated forum, see the News and Announcements (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2) forum (feel free to try to post there and see what happens. I can easily just delete 'test' threads and whatnot).
