In the custom league American Baseball League I recently made a MAJOR snafu: I, as Boston, traded Nomar Garciaparra and a handful of others to Texas for rookie Herman Smith.

I gather that I clicked on the wrong name, Nomar instead of Magglio Ordonez.

Is there any way to reverse this? I've tried offering the deal back but Texas, of course, will not accept.

It's currently 2006 in this league I have two back to back world championships to defend here! This is important stuff!

My entire team's chemistry is ruined!

James, et all, if you can "fix" this trade for me it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Did you trade with a computer or a human player? If it's a human, try asking him to swap back.

Can you ask your commish to fix the problem?

As a general rule, we try not to interfere in user-commissioned leagues unless the commissioner is absent. The ideas is that the commissioner has the final say in how the league is run.

Let me know if you can't get hold of the commish.

Thanks,
James Grove

James, thanks for getting back to me.

The league lists Acornwell as the owner (commish?) of the league, however this user name doesn't currently have a team in the league and I don't see any way to contact him/her.

The trade was with a computer-managed team.

Can you please post the entire trade here?

What players went to each team?

Did any money change hands?

-James

Offer was accepted!

That looks good to me.

Boston offers
Nomar Garciaparra
Andrew Diana
Thad Howell
Brian Rose

to Texas for
Herman Smith

That's it, there wasn't any money in the deal.
