if you have the history of any elimination League please post it here. I have the ones for Mogul elimination League. Cape Cop is about to start. I know there were a few other Elimination Leagues, so if anyone has the history please post it.
From what I can tell the average league is worth about 360 points per year, and fast leagues are worth about 6 points per WS. Since the league runs 15 seasons that would make sense that length of a challenge league would be worth 90-100 points.
1st- 30
2nd- 20
NL Runner-up 12
AL Runner -up 12
NL Sweet 6- 8
AL Sweet 6- 8
NL Elite 8 - 4
AL Elite 8 - 4
NL Top 10 -2
AL Top 10 -2
top 12- top 15 - 1
I figure this can be the base. Like the other leagues there might be a bonus for difficulty. I feel this might encourage participation is some "challenge" leagues. i figure to qualify to be an "elite" league you would have to have 50% of your GMs in the top 100 in WS Rank. This is an arbitrary #, but at least a start.

15 year Challenge with a very competitive group of GM's featuring 7 of the 10 GM's on the current HOF ballot.

let me edit those #'s for elim leagues. that would work for a cash money league, but in elimination there are ties every year, so i have to account for that.

So... what would be the actual order of winners in MEL? The Champion is obviously first, but after that?

I edited it. Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

OK, I get it... I think. The last round the player was eliminated in determines the level that he was at. 1st-2nd are obvious. Then the next previous owners who were eliminated go in the Runner-up slots, next two in the Sweet 6, and so on?
Yea, cool. got it.

so it looks like the forum is deleted?
Probably lost in the great clean up that happened not too long ago (a week? two?) Dee might be able to restore them, at some point.
Anyway, the original points structure that scooter posted could be used for the CML results, I think:
From what I can tell the average league is worth about 360 points per year, and fast leagues are worth about 6 points per WS. Since the league runs 15 seasons that would make sense that length of a challenge league would be worth 90-100 points.

So, is MEL it for the elimination leagues? (aside from the Cape Code League going on now)
I know that some of you know your own and others rankings in the CML series. Even if we don't have full info, Post what you know and I'll add the information that we do have to the database.
