Hi Guys

I was wondering if any of you guys noticed if your players didnt develop that well if you have multiple players that play the same position in the minors.

------
Like say I want to develop at Catcher these three players in the minors b/c I have a verteran Catcher in the majors at the moment

Ben Davis
Ben Petrick
A.J. Pierzynski
-------

Would it hurt their ratings/development because they all play the same position or it doesn't matter?

Knowing this would help me on future trade attempts if Im already loaded at some positions in the minors.

Hi,

I've never noticed that, so it shouldn't matter, they all will play in the mionrs.

I've never noticed any difference in player developement for having high numbers of players at one position (although I will try to watch that a bit more closely now, I'm pretty sure it affects developement in OOTP3, but they use a three tiered system ie. A, AA, AAA). I just wanted to point out that you should always as a rule have at least 2 catchers in the bigs. In this game it is good to have 2 and only 2... usually when a major league team is carrying a 3rd catcher, they drop a player from the bullpen. Since you cant do that, I wouldn't really suggest it.

This is very true. i wish they would develop more quickly without having to have a cash balance of the Yankee's.

Although the Blue Jays do have alot of money, that extra "100"! tends to help. lol
