10.16 Errors don't show up in playoffs [Fixed 10.18]

Using patch 9.26 in manager mode of play-by-play, I have noticed that errors are no longer being recorded in the linescore on top of the PBP screen or the one on top of the box score. As far as I can tell, they are not being recorded in players' scouting reports and they are screwing up how earned runs are being figured (I've noticed the messed up earned runs in another game featuring the same bug).

I've attached the recap, box score and a screenshot of the game in question.

Just downloaded the official patch and i've noticed that (so far thru 3 pbp games) that errors are not being recorded. It says player reaches first on error by left fielder and run scores. Error doesnt show in Box Score and Earned runs for pitcher are incorrect.

Running XP, playing 9.29 in Player Mode. As you can see there should be only 1 earned run for the pitcher but it shows 2. i expect it counted the player who was on base before the error as an earned run. Hope this helps.


p.s. i have another game with a similar error but i thought it would be redundant to post

If I knew how to post a screenshot I would, but I don't so bear with me. Basically, in PbP mode, if someone commits an error, it doesn't register on the linescore on the top of the screen. It doesn't appear in the box score after the game is over either. It looks like the error shows up in the player stats, but that's it

never... mot in the boxscore either. IT does not it in the game recap however.

Aha! This is a playoff bug! When I was playing the playoffs a few weeks ago, I thought that it was a line score/box score bug. When I began playing the regular season, I thought that it had been corrected. And then I saw this.

Houston and O.L. - Play a few playoff games, and you should see it also - with every error.

Using 9.44I, the fielder gets credited in the scouting report, unearned runs are assigned, and the error is listed in the recap. Everything appears normal, except that the error is never added to the totals, so it doesn't show up in the box.

Note that this never occurs in regular season games, but it does occur in every postseason game.

EDIT: The errors are properly credited in the fielding player dialog, if that helps.

Spence, this is a known bug (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?t=121224), which only effects playoff games. :confused: It doesn't seem to matter whether the game occurs in PBP or non-PBP mode.

The errors committed in the post season are still not showing up in the box or line score, the are listed in the PBP but for some reason don't make it to the box/line score. This occurs only in the post season, everything is fine during the regular season.

When I do PBP and I am in the playoffs and there is a error. in the box score (during the game and after) it doesn't show in. It does show when I am in a season but it doesn't when I am in the playoffs.
