OK, I have Oakland in league E and here is my rotation as of the last sim and the days rest needed. Bear with me, I'll get to the point.

1- Dempster rest=5
2- Williamson rest=0
3- Zito rest=3
4- Finley rest=1
5- Rose rest=4
Emergency- Mulder rest=5

OK, so when the 10 day sim starts, who should pitch game 1?? WILLIAMSON!

Who actually pitched?? ZITO!!! With 3 days rest needed and all.

Actual rorarion went like this: probable Days rest needed in ()
Zito(3), Finley(0), Day off, Dempster(0), Williamson(0), Rose(0), Mulder(0), Finley(0), Rose(2), Day off

I think Rose pitched on 2 days rest because Zito got hurt, so the sim made the right choices overall.

I believe the sim knows which spot in the rotation it is going to pitch next before the 10 game simulation starts, because I previously had williamson in the 3 spot, and he was the logical choice to start. So I changed the rotation to accomodate an injury and the sim still thought spot #3 was the one to start in the first game, without checking to see that Zito was there (an co-incidentally he got hurt) on short rest.

After the first game of the 10 game sim, it appears to pick correctly.

I'm fixing this with a listbox that lets you pick the next starter for your team (and shows the next starter for other teams).

After the first game of the 10 game sim, it appears to pick correctly.

As you pointed out, the AI tends to do a pretty good job of picking the starters AFTER the first game.

This should be up on the online game within a few days (by Monday August 27th)
