Who makes the playoffs

In my one league there was a 3-way tie for the AL Wildcard. Is there a playoff to see who goes? How is it played? Or does it go to some sort of head to head or what?

Did 2 of them tie for the division championship as well as the 3 way tie for the wild card?

If so, then the 2 teams would play for the division championship, and the loser would be eliminated from the wild card (half game behind the idle team).

If there was no division championship at stake, it gets a little more complicated as far as I can tell. It looks like the MLB rules involve determining which team has the best head-to-head record against the other two teams and then letting that team choose whether to host two playoff games (against the worst head-to-head record and the winner of that playing the remaining team) or traveling to the winner of the worst two teams playing.

That's what I could find on the rules, but I could be wrong - and I have no idea how BBM implements that.
