Today, went to see the Mets/Braves game at Turner Field.

* Very cold. About 45 degrees, but it felt colder. D-amn cold. Arctic level winds. I wore a coat, sweater and T-shirt but still felt cold.

* Kelly Johnson hit a lead-off home run on the first pitch in the bottom of the 1st for the Tomahawkers, but Shawn Green and Ramon Castro hit back to back homeruns off Kyle Davies in the second.

* The Braves rallied in the eighth. The Braves crowd, never loud, woke up with the rally.

* Bob Wickman got his 3rd save of the year, giving Braves fans hope that we have our bullpen difficulties remedied.

* Bought a fitted Braves cap.

* My wife gave up in the second inning and went up to the lobby, where it was much warmer.

* The guy sitting next to us said that they had run out of hot chocolate at the Starbucks in the stadium. Bad planning, it seems.

I was watching the Braves the game on TBS because the Indians game was canceled, I love the quote 'Another FREEZING day here in Atlanta, 45 degrees!'

Tough it up. It was 22 without wind chill today where I live. And about Wickman, when the fatman was in Cleveland he could only pitch when the bases were loaded. Prepare for alot of nail biters :).

I watched the Red Sox game on TV. It was an exciting 8th and 9th inning.

Yesterday I watched the Twins and Johan take on the White Sox...great game although they had stated that the setup man would always be Rincon and close with Nathan..well last night they put in Jesse Crain (the one reliever on the staff that I am really worried about) he gave up a run. Twins won 3-1 (MVP Morneau hit a blast also)

Turns out Rincon was a little banged up, thats why the Crain "wreck" was pitching the 8th.
