The team logos which are supposed to load on the right side of the page -- the logos you click to change the pertinent team you are looking at -- are not loading. Only empty space is left.
Version: 10.17
Windows XP
Simulation, Coach Mode
The debug and .mog files are attached.

Hey, Pet, I've seen something similar to this, but for me it's only the White Sox logo, and only in the game that I imported from 9.XX. In the game I started on 10.19IS1, all the logos show up.

Check the team abbreviations. The game loads the logo's according to the team abbreviation, so the game looks for the Chicago White Sox logo in 10.19 by searching for CHW.PNG. If the team abbreviation is CHA instead of CHW or something, then it won't find the logo.

Brilliant! :D Don't suppose this helps Pet any, though, unless his logos aren't in the \Skins\SportsMogul\Logos folder...

Just posting to say that I was having the same problem, and changing the files to .jpg's made them show up..

Most of my teams still have their appropriate abbreviations, but logos for those teams don't load.
I also tried changing from .png to .jpg. Still doesn't help.
I guess I'm going to have to get used to living without logos. Although it does such not having that level of functionality.

I've recently upgraded my graphics card and now I can't seem to get the team logos in the top right of the game screen. The link is still there to move to another team but the graphic is missing. I have tried a couple of thing such as deleting and reinstalling the logo update I was using (Robinhoodnik's MLB patch) but nothing doing.
Anyone got any suggestions please? Thanks.

Have you tried refreshing the skin?

I'll try that today thanks Jeff

I've had my logos do weird things, like become a negative image while switching between apps. Nothing I tried was able to correct this but when spring training rolled around it self-corrected, I guess there's an automatic refresh at that point.

I'm pretty sure the default logo files that come with the game have to remain perfectly intact for the game to run.

but how would you change the png files to jpeg so they show in the game

I tried the new skin idea with a new logo mod several days ago. The logos still will not work on any screen but the game recap screen....though the look really nice with the new skin with better logos :p

From the pictures I saw on the game before buying I thought there would be photos of the team logo. Heres a pic of what im talking about. I run Windows XP by the way. Is this the way the game is supposed to be? Every part of the game where it normally shows a pick just shows a blank spot like u see in this photo. How can I go about fixing this?

Clay cant use MLB logos but you can download them from here (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?t=159448) & unzip them & put them in skins/logos when you open the game file ;)

Several people have reported this and similar problems earlier but failed to follow up on it. For some reason, PNG files are a real problem on certain Windows installations (mostly due to transparency, I think). That sort of problem is really outside of the scope of Mogul but who knows, maybe Ian or Clay can think of something to help the situation.
The work around is to go to the skins folder with the team logos ("\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2009\Skins\SportsMogul\Logos") and copy the existing logos in JPG format... either that or download one of the great logo packs from the mods forum, and use those instead.
Note that the game checks for the default logo's and most other files in the SportsMogul skin to be there when you start the game, so do not directly edit or remove any files from the SportsMogul skin!

Not even the original logos that came with the game. I purchased the game online, installed and no logos. I have no idea how to get them to show. I have the 2009 version. I know where they are at C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2009\Skins\SportsMogul\Logos but cant understand why its not working...help??

I have both, real and fake.
The fake ones are in path: C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2009\Skins\SportsMogul\Logos
The real ones are in path: C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2009\Skins\SportsMogul\Skins\SportsMogul\Logos
and also to note, I tried copying and pasting the logos in every directory in C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2009 and would open game, go to tools/options/select the skin and then choose reload, close game, reopen and look and no success.
Also the OS I have is
Windows XP
Media Center Edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 2
if that helps...

Yeah I know, I didnt buy the 2008 version so I dont know if its a me problem or the game itself. To me it would be nice to have but doesnt ruin the game for me, but I do believe when you buy a product it should work in its entirety. I havent played a 2008 season yet, im think I will to see if I even have player photos. :(
After looking, at least I have player photos.

That won't work. The game only looks for them in the Logos directory that is inside the main skin directory. It doesn't look at the contents of subdirectories deeper than the Logos folder.
Please read: Creating a new skin and using photo, logo, and sound mods (http://forum.sportsmogul.com/showthread.php?t=139794)
Again, the logos that you do have, can you open and view them outside of the game?

yep, but keep in mind, im not trying to create any logos, i kind of would like the default settings to work first. And thanks for the link but ive read it many times without any success in getting the default logos to work.

So wait, the logos work outside of the game? I'm not sure what you're answering there.
Do you have the SportsMogul skin selected?

I think the question was can I see the logos outside the game, and I can if I navigate through the files. But they dont actually work in the game itself. This attachment might clear the confusion.

I think this is the problem, the game isnt loading the logos from the main skin directory for some reason.

I'm out of ideas... I guess you could try removing and reinstalling the game. I don't usually recommend that, but it might work if the problem has to do with something that has become mis-configured.

If neither jpg or png works... I don't know, something else is wrong. You've managed to get something mis-configured, somewhere.
Rage: On the options menu that you showed us, see where it says Skin:Sports Mogul? Hit that dropdown, and maybe try 'reload current skin'?
not a bad idea

Perhaps, get rid of this path:
The real ones are in path: C:\Program Files\Sports Mogul\Baseball 2009\Skins\SportsMogul\Skins\SportsMogul\Logos
Create a new folder in the Baseball 2009\Skins folder, with a Logo folder inside of that and put the real logos in there. In the game, choose that skin in the options menu..

Cat/Houston: Already tried both of those things before with no success...I went down just about every avenue I could think of before I even reported the issue.
It seems to affect just a few, and I wonder if its more of a windows issue than a mogul issue. I really dont know, or feel like tinkering with the windows to try to remedy this problem, but maybe some insight on what I can do with windows would be appreciated.
I do wish I had the 2008 version to see if the same problem occurs, but I wont buy it just to test a therory.

I've been having this problem too, and I have a possible clue, which I noticed first in the box scores.
Now, I run Baseball Mogul in Linux, using Wine to emulate Windows. Generally, I accepted the lack of logos as a natural consequence of running the game in an unsupported manner, no biggie. But I don't see the logos in the box scores, either. After I realized that there were supposed to be logos in the box scores, my reaction was "that's weird, the box scores are in HTML. My OS shouldn't matter." So I looked in the HTML source, and found that the image file it was attempting to use was "../../Skins\SportsMogul\Logos/CHC.png". I looked in my logos folder and found that all the files were all lower case, so I changed the CHC from the box score to chc. That still didn't work. Then I noticed the backslashes, and changed those to forward slashes. Voila! Logos in my box scores.
If the game uses the same code to load team logos as it does to produce the HTML for team logos, it's possible that the weird mishmash of backslashes and forward slashes is confusing something along the line (maybe even getting something confused with an escape sequence?). I don't know if the code manages to be case insensitive or not, either, and that information would probably be helpful as well.
