Norman Mullins lined out to left. <321>
Richard Hidalgo struck out. <321>
Aubrey Huff struck out. <321>
0 runs, 2 hits, 1 error, and 3 left on base.
In the middle of the first, the game is tied at 0.

shouldn't there have been a run with Murtagh's AB? The lead runner didn't get cut down at the plate, since there were 3 more outs later in the inning.

Vladimir Guerrero popped up to the catcher. <3-->
5 runs, 1 hit, 1 error, and 1 left on base.
At the end of the eighth, Montreal leads 8 to 0.

rollins' walk brings in the 4th run of this 5 run inning.
almaguer's AB should have brought in a run since no out was recorded. (5th run of the inning)
hidalgo's GIP also should have brought home a runner. (6th run of the innings)

seems like the bug is when the batter reaches on an error?

no runs were scored this inning..

also i looked at a bunch of other games with fielding errors, but most of them are handled fine.. and i can't really tell what is different about these 3 situations.

Hi there -

This bug seems to have several causes. Many of them are related to errors, passed balls, or other unusual circumstances.

We keep fixing this bug, but then we find new special exceptions that cause it to happen.

So I'm sorry if it looks like we don't fix this problem. It's much less common than it used to be, but we have had a hard time isolating EVERY circumstance that causes it.

We'll keep plugging away, though, and someday we'll get it licked!

Thanks,
James
